Anyone re-filed after a denial and had success with the second application?
I'll essentially be filing the exact same package again (with a few more docs) and hoping that I don't get the same adjudicator as last time (who, it seems, had a bad day when s/he looked at my ap).
I was under the impression that I would need to note that I had a previously denied I-485/Adjustment of status application and note the reason given for the denial somewhere on the new I-485 form but all I can see is:
1. Have you ever applied for an immigrant visa to obtain permanent resident status at a U.S. Embassy or U.S consulate abroad.
14. Have you EVER been denied admission to the United States?
15. Have you EVER been denied a visa to the United States?
...and none of these apply since I don't think application for a green card is the same as the application for a visa. Am I mistaken about needing to note a previous denial on the form?
