Package rejected for outdated I-485 form

My package was reject on 5/3 for out dated form and we resubmit package on 5/14/18. My question is will continue to use the same receipt number on that was on the I-797C rejection notice or they will give a new receipt number.

This the exact same thing that happened to me. I sent May 5 they reject it May 9. Resubmitted on the 14th and I got an email today to say case accepted.

After i read your response earlier today I called uscis and received the new number.

This the exact same thing that happened to me. I sent May 5 they reject it May 9. Resubmitted on the 14th and I got an email today to say case accepted.

It seem you and I have the same timeframe. Called today and they stated that the case was accepted yesterday.
