I-485 approved, No GC, Travel on H1B?

I received a letter a few weeks ago stating that my APD application was denied this year because my I-485 was approved. I haven't received my green card or any other notification for a passport stamp as yet.

I need to travel outside the country in June 2006. Can I travel on my H1B that expires in Sep 2006? If not, what might the options be.

make an appointmnet with infopass, take your passport and written notice of approval and a temporary stamp will be placed in your passport enabling you to return after your trip.
