Interview today all went well but recieved an rfe on the vaccinations orginal exam was blank on vaccinations what do i do i have copies from colombia but not orginal as medical institution closed years ago HELP, on the bright side lawyer said everything was perfect that we have to submitt and we should get the green card within 4 weeks

To be clear, did you see a civil surgeon and had the I-693 filled out?
You do not need originals of your vaccination record. A copy of a record is fine, a school record that lists the vaccinations you?ve had is also fine. All the civil surgeon had to was look through the copies you have, and fill out the vaccination portion.

as far as I know, if you are unable to provide proof of your vaccinations you need to get the ones selected for your age group and your doctor will state that in your medical exams

as far as I know, if you are unable to provide proof of your vaccinations you need to get the ones selected for your age group and your doctor will state that in your medical exams

You don?t want to revaccinate, though. They just do blood titers/ blood levels to determine levels of immunity and administer anything that?s clinicqlky appropriate at the current age. OP has a copy of the record and that?s fine.
I should clarify that you if you get a vaccine at age 3 from doctor Smith, then another one at age 5 from Dr jones, then another one at age 7 from Dr carter, you do not have to show each original record from each doctor. If all you have is a record from your university that lists all vaccines from different doctors and places, that?s fine.
The civil surgeon has to transfer the info from your record onto the I-693. If you?ve had all vaccines, and most adults have had them, then you?re good to go.

In colombia the uscis doctor said that she cant usedl the copy, thats crazy, my exam was done in feb 2017 i have to get a new medical done here? I have a foto copy of my vaccine record with all my vaccinations on it calling a couple of doctors they are telling me i have to get the medical re done and blood work and tb shot totaling upward $350

I can believe that. Every corner store in Miami on Calle 8 does USCIS exams. So they'll tell you anything. You never readminister a vaccine. You get titers, and if you do not show immunity to X, and it is clinically appropriate to administer, then you do. Otherwise, you don't. It also says that on the forms. I am licensed to administer any immunization available to mankind. You can take my word on this one.

It's good to read the instructions because some offices will try to push exams and things you do not need, just to rake up the bill. That's something to keep in mind. USCIS does not regulate what rate Civil surgeons charge for filling out the form.

I think you should read the directions. Everyone should. They are long and tedious, but it would save you time and money to do so.
And yes, I believe you that physician in Colombia told you that. They'll do anything to charge more.

My lawyer and the officer said that?s all we need to get the case approve the interview was swift a couple of questions and when she going goong thru the medical thats when she saw the colombian doctor left all vaccines blank. I truly just want ti submitt everything and get my green card and begin to live a normal life with my husband i havent even goten an ead card and with this rfe my case is going to be longer

I did not follow all discussion here, but you have to do one thing only, and supprised why you did not do before interview.

Find a doctor near your location from the USCIS website. Make appointment and provide all vaccination papers from your country. The doctor will tell you what to do in addition to what you have and doctor wont seal the envelope without filling all questions. If doctor tells you to do vaccination, then you should do it. Even non USCIS doctor says it is not neccessary to do a test or a vaccination, yet, you need to do it if you want to get greencard.

Im going to do that immediately after the holiday weekend im going to call the thing is do i schedule another exam or do i wait for the rfe because mu exam was done more than a yr ago.

Scroll down to "review of vaccination records". It states "Acceptable vaccination documentation must come from a vaccination record, either a personal vaccination record or a copy of a medical chart with entries made by a physician or other appropriate medical personnel. Only those records of vaccine doses that include the dates of receipt (month, day, and year) are acceptable

Sorry that physician in Colombia misled you. He/she could have used the vaccination records you have. If you are already on your husband's insurance plan, I would look for doctors in your area who are also USCIS civil surgeons. That way, most of the visit will be covered by insurance.
Otherwise, go to a doctor on your insurance plan first, present your vaccination records, and ask for those records to be added to your medical chart. Then, get a copy of that chart, and bring it to the USCIS civil surgeon. They're just transferring information from one sheet to another. You can also barter. We bartered in Colombia all the time. No le de pena. I don't barter all the time - only sometimes.

Thank you so much i have a copy of the vaccinations card i had when i was younger so many yrs ago the orginal one was lost but i do have all vaccines done im just going to wait for the offical rfe letter and go take the exam again and validate mu vaccines and or have new ones if nessesary thats all i can do at this point its just upsetting becausese over a yr ago i could have sorted this in colombia and the physician was so unprofessional this is pushing back my greencard at least another 2 months im guessing and i really want to start helping my husband economically at home and also start to just live a normal life as of now i havent even gotten a ead card or ssn sonim very limited

Yes, I understand your frustration, but it's water under the bridge, done and gone. I would just go ahead and take care of the I-693 right away. The second the RFE comes in the mail, I'd respond right away. I would actually make an Infopass appointment and drop off the I-693 at the Field Office. It's been done before.
