    HI all;
    We had our first AOS about is 1.5 now. Does anyone think this is an issue?

    We had our first AOS about a month ago. We think interview went well. About a week after they sent approval I797 letter, but we just got form G-56 that lists my wife, the beneficiary, to come for an adjustment of status interview with original IO. It says to "bring ID, passport, etc and originals of documentation you have sent to us as well as any additional documentation asked for." We are legit married we even have a kid together who is 1.5 now. Does anyone think this is an issue?
    I think they approved i-130 but there are some issues about i-485 that they need to clarify.

      Stokes is about i-130 and not about i-485, they would have called both of you back and not approved i-130.

      This is likely going to be about how wife came to the states, criminal history if any and anything else that might make her inadmissible.

        I did some google-digging, and this could be anything from clarifying a traffic ticket, to wanting to see an updated I-693, I-864. Typically, people get a list that specifies what they have to bring. Some reported being in & out in 5 to 10 minutes. I would definitely attend with your wife; even though the letter does not state you are required to attend.
        In other instances, people who filed their I-130 first, had an interview for it, and got it approved, and later filed for AOS, also got a G-56.
