Interview was scheduled Status

Hi, thanks for the help in advance.

My status was changed to "Interview was scheduled" and we will mail you the notice with interview date. This happened about 9 days ago. However, I still have not received any letter in mail.

I called USCIS today about it and their rep says...We have not yet mailed the letter and we will mail it. I think she just was reading out the status.

I am worried I might miss the interview date. Usually from what I read online, after this update, the interview is usually scheduled 30 days from the change in status.

Should I continue to wait for the letter?

Yes it is normally scheduled in 30 days of notice. The USCIS app should show you the date it is scheduled.

The app is not showing me the date. It only says "Interview was scheduled and we will mail you the notice in letter" ...nothing else.

Don?t fret it will be in time you?ll get it the officers on the phone as level 1 officers May not see much info on it I would think but just read from the online info they told me the samething it wasn?t mailed and then the next day I revceived it so don?t worry and I have 34 days to totally get mentally prepared because I?m already prepared with documents lol

The apps use info from the USCIS website so whether someone has it or not doesn't make a difference. What u should do is call and ask to speak with a level 2 officer. When I called and spoke with the level 2 officers both gave me the interview date. I was also worried about missing my interview. Speaking with the level 2 helped alot. They have more access to that kind of information. Also, make sure u call @ 8am.

I don?t know how and why but ?interview is scheduled? shows the date on the app or case tracker. Other one ?interview was scheduled? doesn?t show the date, only says we will mail it to you.

This is what I?ve notice before receiving my notice.
There is INTERVIEW READY TO SCHEDULE
And also INTERVIEW WAS SCHEDULE
Two different things I couldn?t see my date from the app however it may be different in some places but when I called the tier 1 officer says they didn?t see the notice sent however I wasn?t worried because I know they won?t see much but the next day the Notice was delivered to me but for the tier 2 officers they can tell the date based on what I?ve read from others. But no one should worry about the notices it will be delivered once everything is okay with your address and USPS that?s the only time they?d return the notice but I didn?t have to sign for it nor anything.

Does anyone know if the case status online changes to when they actually mail out the interview notice?
Our case i485 from K-1 says interview was scheduled June 27th and last week they said they mailed a notice. Now today the agent said they have not mailed anything and kept reading my online status to me and telling me it will update to when they mail out a notice with interview date.
How do you request a level to just ask immediately?
