Biometrics - Passport Needed ?

Hello,

Is the passport required for Biometrics, passport is expiring and need to get it renewed, Biometrics is pending and not sure how long it will take, I have drivers License.

DL is enough. unless the letter tells to get passport.

When I went to my biometrics this year, they used to only ask for my dl but this time they asked me for my passport. I didn't have it but I showed them my work's permit. It was the first time they asked for my passport, considering I've been going renew my work's permit a couple of times, they usually let me do it with my dl.
So just is case take it with you.
