  • Form I-485 after Form I-130

submitted form I-130 in December 2017. I am spouse of US citizen.
although i did not submit I-485 with it at that time because funds were not available. can i still do so now and file as concurrently? or should i wait until form i-130 is approved. Is there a difference wait time after form i-130 is approved? I want to also get my employment authorization.

What is your category? (i.e. what are you immigrating based on?)

Yes, you can file I-485 now. Attach a copy of your I-130 receipt.

You can also file I-765 for EAD and I-131 for Advance Parole, both for free, along with your I-485.
