My interview is schedule for 14th of June and because i applied to schedule a new date based on the health on my wife, I got a Confirmation of new date and a bold writing that my interview will be on Video and Recording, Please do you think it will be a hard one?

I want help on how to secretly verify my Spouse W2 because i do not trust what she gave me and i do not want to run into troubles with the office about this.

Secretly verify her w2? What about it you need to verify? If she used it for tax returns then it has already been verified by IRS. Also, why don't you trust your wife? Can't have love if you don't have trust.

Why would you not trust your wife to give you a real W2? If she genuinely wants this process to be smooth for the both of you I don?t think she would give you a **** W2. And I don?t think anyone on here can help you verify if it?s real or not.

If you filed a joint return, then you should be able to request a transcript from the IRS. You can call and ask for the transcript to be faxed to you. They're very helpful once you get to a real IRS agent. You just have to have immediate physical access to a fax machine or an online fax service. If it's an online service, you just tell them you have access to a fax machine.

Yes, you should be extra prepared for this interview. If they had already noted any red flags, you raised an additional one by requesting to re-schedule your interview. That was not handled in the most pragmatic way. You should be prepared to document that entire week of your wife being sick. Bring along medical records, parking receipts, a letter from the physician on letterhead insurance claims. There should be no doubt that it was impossible for her to attend. I remember you posted when your wife missed the interview.

If she gave you a **** W-2, USCIS may already know. If they get transcripts from you, they take those at face value. Otherwise, if you send in your 1040s, 1099s and W2s, they do verify or at least, may verify the documents are legit.
