Update: EAD received,

I received my EAD card and not the combo card. Uncertain why the AP was not approved, the status still shows as case received. Is there a way to request to expedite process? I am planning to travel in December so no big rush however it would be comforting to have the AP on hand.

Congratulations on the EAD! I would definitely call USCIS. This is considered USCIS error, which meets the expedite criteria/requirements. It's terribly impractical on their part to approve the EAD and not the AP. It's the whole point of the combo card.

Any Interviews for EB1A March filer?

Any India EB1A March 2018 I485 filer here who got any ?interview being scheduled? or ?ready for scheduling interview? ?
Any one have any guess when the Final action date will go current for India considering that it is now at 1 Jan 2016 for October.

I received the tracking# for Ead/AP card today. Will the mail man/woman leave the card at the door or in the mail box if no one is home to accept it? Is a signature required ? I do not want to give them a reason to extend the waiting period.

Thank you for your kind words. I am glad to hear I have been of assistance. By the way, you do not need to miss work. Text the word ALL to 28777. That's USPS. That will sign you up for notifications of every update available for your delivery. Ours was scheduled for Monday 08-06-18 BUT it actually arrived on 08-04-18. I would just ask them to hold it at the post office. you can do that by calling, you can do it online OR you can do it in person at the post office.

I did sign up delivery info. If it arrive within the next two it would be a great because I will home with the kids since school is closed for the Jewish holiday.

EAD received without AP

Congrats on getting the EAD! Did you inspect it? Does it say I-512 Serves as Advance Parole?

I did check the EAD card, it says "Not valid for re entry to the US" - I called and talked to Tier 2, they couldnt provide any useful info other than case was received. I submitted a request to expedite under USCIS error. Waiting to see what happens with that request.

Perfect. Now you reach out to your Senator, and expose the USCIS error. If that doesn't help, then the Ombudsman.
