This is getting ridiculous now. My PD is may 17th and still no update. Some June people are getting their EADs. Why so slow ! Mine is a clear cut case. Married to USC and have 1 kid and another on way !! come on !!

I feel your pain. Just know that USCIS looks at adjustment of status as a matter of administrative discretion and administrative grace. Folks filing in the family based category - whether immediate relatives or not - are not entitled to Adjustment of Status. Our cases involve discretion and the burden of proof rests upon us to show a case is worthy of administrative discretion or grace. In other words, adjustment of status is an exception. While this exception and/or request for administrative grace/discretion is often granted, that does not change the fact that it is an exception.

The only people who are entitled to adjustment of status are refugees/asylees. Those cases do not involve discretion. If you meet the criteria -and most of them do- then USCIS has no other choice but to approve it.

This is all to say that we all signed up for this. We all had the choice to choose between AOS and consular processing - and we chose AOS. You also had a choice of where to live. The processing times are public info. You could have moved to a faster jurisdiction.

Last but not least, everyone's case is important. No matter how straightforward you think your case is, that does mean your case must be pushed ahead of others. Sure, you have kids together. Congrats if it is a true marriage and you two are raising the children in a bona fide marriage. Know that USCIS still has to do all the checks, and you still have to present evidence of bona fide marriage - whether you have been married for 2 years or not.

It will probably be there by tomorrow. People have had issues. I would change the delivery instructions and request to hold your mail at the Post office. Then pick it up. that's my humble 2 cents.

The tracker for my card stated that it would be deliver on Friday but it came the Thursday. It was delivered by my mail lady, I left a not on my door to stating I was home. I didn't realized it was delivered until I open my front door and saw between the door ad gate( mail box broken).
