It gave me a good feeling while talking to him. All in all. From May 11 that I sent out my application, it was a total of 3 months. I didn?t get any EAD but I got an interview right away. Good luck to everyone. Just be patient and as long as everything is legal and real, be confident.

    Congratulation !!!!

      • does anyone know?

        hi everyone,

i had an EAD under different category. but it is expiring in January 2019. when i applied for AOS in May 2018, i didn't include i-765 application. so the question is, since i gave my fingerprint for the AOS application. do i still have to give another fingerprint for EAD renewal? any advice or experience would be really helpful.

        thanks

        • Hello everyone,

I filed back in May (PD is 05/03), and got my fingerprints taken 06/06. Since then, I have got no news. For my I-130 and I-765, I've only been informed that my case has been received; for my I-485, the last notice is that the fingerprints fee has been received. What is next? Should I be receiving an update before receiving my EAD?

Also, I did not include an I-131 with my application as I do not intend to leave the country during the process. Will this affect the timing for my EAD?

In case it matters, I live in NJ and my center is Newark, NJ, which I think is one of the slowest.

          Thank you!

          • i dont think 1-131 will effect your EAD. i think you can call USCIS and expedite your EAD. for ex, work offer letter or financial issues and etc

                • My case seems completely stuck. I filed on 5/1 and did my biometrics on 5/30. I have not received any updates ever since. Both of the online trackers show "We received your biometrics fee and are reviewing your case" for the I-485, and "We received your case" for all the other forms (last tracker updates were on 5/7).

Is there anything I can do to know what's happening with my case? Should I contact my local senator?

                  Filed from Boston, MA.

05-01-2018: Filed I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765 for AOS based on marriage to a US citizen
                  05-04-2018: Notice of receipt received
                  05-11-2018: Biometrics notice received
05-30-2018: Attended biometrics appointment; no further updates since

                        NJsamesex,

It sounds like you do not have online access to your cases. I would recommend creating an account on each of these two sites.

                        https://egov.uscis.gov. (Sign up)
https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov (add a paper filed case - use your receipt)

The two sites are updated as adjudicators take actions on your cases. Each site displays different updates so it?s best to have both.

I just notice this update today when I created a new account on the https://my.uscis.gov/account website. The other website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus) does not have any updates - it just shows case received on all the applications. Is this normal? How long does it take to schedule an interview?

Usually, 2 weeks after you get that update then the interview itself is after 3 weeks. You can take a look at my timeline if you want. But I?m not sure if I just got lucky to have my Green Card in 3months after filing.
