Has anybody else noticed a huge jump in processing times for the i485? Last month, the Raleigh field office stated it was processing cases in approximately 5.5 months. This month, the USCIS processing times page is showing that the Raleigh F.O. is now i485s between 11.5 and 26 months. Does a 6 month jump in a month seem plusable? Has anyone else noticed huge jumps in processing times at their respective FO.? I am also curious because the average time still shows what it did last months (6.5- 16.5 months).

I found that the field office where the processing time was 4.5 month changed to average 9.5 month/11.5 month...
This is really confusing!! There must be something going on in the department.

Maybe an algorithm?
This is what I assumed about the algorithm of the processing times.
All cases are entered on the system with the priority date as a key parameter that resets every year. This is a variable parameter IF someone gets an RFIE or RFE as they cannot delete the entire case. Same as the interview case, when the IO needs to review, then it will change the entire processing times.
My reason, is that most of the filers from Q1 2018 got an interview right away. I might be wrong, tho.
