  • HIGHLY URGENT - G- 56 call for invitation

Dear all, I received a G- 56 invitation from ICE in my email after 2 visits in my previous apartment. I was asked to appear in their office on the 5th of june 2018. I am married to a US citizen but am yet to file in my paper .
I have been told that if I ever attend the invitation I would be held back and likely deported.
Please what are my possible option cos I don't want to be deported back.

Thank you. I was actually advise that too but the timing seem quite short. I am also considering to reply them to ask for an extention of time. I don't know how that would work.

Try it. Say that you can not attend at the day and ask them to reschedule for the week of 06/11 but the meantime you must to make sure that you processed are already filled.

This is a very serious situation. You need to get a lawyer immediately and you NEED to file your papers immediately if you have not been put in removal already. And under NO circumstances should you go to this meeting.

Whaoo, thank a lot guys, I actually went to see a lawyer today and she said I need to get my papers in as soon as possible and I got to reply ICE to reschedule my appointment.
Feel so relieved at the moment and I trust GOD that all would be resolved on my visit.
