HI ,

Here is our Timeline

Documents Received by USCIS : Feb-02-2018
Receipt Sent by USCIS : Mar-12-2018
EAD/AP Received : Apr-24-2018


Our category is EB1C India non-concurrent filing. However we haven;t received any Biometrics appointment yet. We called USCIS and created service request but no action on the same for over a month and they also confirmed that no appointment letter has been sent yet.Customer care advised us to create another service request. We also asked our attorney about this situation and he says that it may be due to the fact that visas in this category are now retrogressed and we may have to wait until October to receive Biometrics appointment.

Is there anyone else on the same boat? Can anyone advise what to do here?

Similar boat.

EB1C though filed AOS on May 25 2018. There is no receipt from USCIS yet, neither have the checks cashed. My gut feel is that due to retrogress, they may not process any applications till October time frame.

However, its good you at least got your EAD/ AP in hand.

If you did not receive receipt notice and checks not cashed yet, you may want to email [email protected] . Sometimes the application gets ignored for some reason. I also had same issues and then it got resolved after emailing to the above email id. Retrogress has nothing to do with application acceptance especially if PD is current. My lawyer was wrong. I created SR once again after my case was transferred to NBC and they said that my case was on hold because they do not have Biometrics. They immediately sent the appointment notice once the SR was created.

Yes, I have sent an email to Lockbox Support and its been a week now there is no response. In how many days after you sent an email you received a response from Lockbox support?

It take 15 days at least for them reply. They seem to be severely backed up.

Thanks, 35 days and counting. Still waiting for some movement or response from lockbox support for my case

Rejection notice.

To update, I received a reject notice for my AOS filings (485, 765, and 131) citing that the:

1. Application Final Dates AND
2. Dates for Filing application

BOTH need to be CURRENT to file for AOS.

This is absurd and totally new. Looks like this is the first of the new evil in this battle of US immigration.
