    Hello friends

I have married to US citizen.my wife is going to be sponsor for my application. i have question, what are the supporting documents i need to submit with form I 864?

she has last 2 years of tax return filled, but in 2015 she was not working so she did not file tax return for year 2015-2016. She has filed tax return for 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. dose 2 years of tax return work or what should i do ?

can you give me any suggestion please. if i will submit 2 years of tax return would they cancel my application?

Only her last 1 year of tax returns needs to be filed with I-864; more is optional. But the "total income" number from her tax returns from the last 3 years needs to be filled in one of the questions on the I-864 (Part 6 #24). Since she did not file for one of those 3 years because her income that year was below the threshold for needing to file, she would put "N/A" for the "total income" for that year, check the box in Part 6 #25, and attach a statement stating that she was not required to file that year, stating her income that year, and what the threshold for needing to file was for that year (which can be found in that year's Form 1040 instructions, in a section near the beginning called "Do You Have To File?").

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
