I received my SSN and EAD last week. Is it too soon or should I contact SSA about this? Anyone else had this issue? I have an interview Monday and I'm afraid they deny me because of this.

that's expected. Do you have a driver's license? If you already do, then have the DMV update your record with your SSN. Once they add it to your driver's license, your SSN will be linked to it. If you do not have a driver's license, I strongly suggest you get one.
Back to e-verify. Busineness won't be able to report your credit worthiness/ on time payments, etc to the credit bureaus unless you have a driver's license. I think that's what may be happening here.
I would also run to the SSA and bring documentation of your name change. After 2 years of being selected by the IRS for identity verification to prevent identity fraud, I finally went to the SSA and presented documentation of my nickname. I use an americanized version of my name at work. So my employer issued my W2s, insurance, 401k, everything using my nickname. GENIUS - I know.
You are in Georgia, and have the option of getting a Real ID. That is a government issued ID that confirms you are either a citizen OR legal permanent resident. Side note: getting a Real ID - driver's license would mean you don't have to carry with proof of lawful status in the US. In this political climate, you want to proof readily available.
Know that the DMV folks can be difficult and may act out of line sometimes. They've been known to confiscate Puerto Rican birth certificates and accuse people of forging documents. So I would bring a paper trail that leads to your green card, along with your green card and EAD/AP. Basically, bring the I-797s you received.
The potential employer can't just deny you. Well, they can. They just can't say it's because they were unable to e-verify you. They're supposed to notify you that your record came back as "Tentative non-confirmation". then you have 8 federal working days to go to the SSA and update your records. See this link. https://www.e-verify.gov/employees/t...n-tnc-overview.
You should also read through this link - how to correct a tentative non-confirmation. https://www.e-verify.gov/employees/t...onconfirmation
And this one. Tips to prevent a tentative non-confirmation. https://www.e-verify.gov/employees/t...nfirmation-tnc
I should reiterate that e-verify should not be a topic of conversation until after you are offered the job. They may not ask you for your green card before offering you the job. That's also after a drug screen. So we're talking two weeks after the interview. You also have your green card and they're supposed to accept documents that look "real".
I would get the driver's license first. If Georgia is like Florida and hands you the driver's license on the spot, then great. Otherwise, keep the receipt and take that along everything else - passport, green card, documents backing up your name change- to the SSA, and have them update your records. The SSA does not know you have a green card. You got the Social Security Card because you were approved for your I-765 and you had checked the option to inform the SSA and issue your SSN. These agencies JUST started communicating recently. So now you have to present your green card to the SSA and they will update it. When you become a citizen, you will have to do the same.
Hope this helps.

It could just be that databases are yet to update, infact the Department of Homeland Security lists this as one of the possible reasons why a Tentative Non-Confirmation (TNC) could be returned. See here: https://www.e-verify.gov/employers/v...a-and-dhs-tncs
Usually if you recieve a TNC, you are provided with a phone number to call to resolve the issue. I recieved one because my supervisor didn't use my EAD, instead using my DL and SSN. If you have the proper authorisation, this call isn't a problem and will usually be resolved within five minuites.

Thanks for the responses!
I called SSA and they told me my information is there and I shouldn't have identity issues when filing taxes. I then called USCIS and spoke with a L2 officer who also verified my information as being correct and said it's a normal occurence with newly issued cards. He then went on to explain that if my card isn't sufficient proof of my work authorization for the employer, the employer can call 1-800-***- **** to verify my eligibility. He said card holders/USCIS customers CANNOT call ONLY the employer.
Hopefully this can help persons who just received their EAD or GC and not to worry about the run around with SSA or fear of losing employment.
Goodluck Everyone!Filed I-130, I130A, I-485, I-765
