Name change water forms sent in

I'm a US citizen petitioning for a green card for my husband. We sent forms in last November, and we're still waiting. In the meantime, I've decided I'd like to change my last name (still have my maiden name).

I'm sure I need to file something with the USCIS, but I can't find this information anywhere, and calling their number sends me into an infinite automated loop. Does anybody know of any form I need to fill out if I change my last name?

You may start using your married name. You can update your name at city hall, I suppose. You can also wait until the interview to update your name with USCIS. You're not the intending immigrant. Just use your married name on all your accounts, bills, etc.

Unnecessary

I don't think you need to send anything to USCIS, as USCFFS said, you're a USC. When you get to the interview, be sure to bring the legal documents showing your change of name, because your other evidence will have your married name. That's all!
