The directions are confusing. I actually did my COA backwards. Go figure.
So you can either do the change of address by mail by filling out the AR-11, then printing it and you would mail that. If you do it online, however, and change the address on all pending/approved petitions, then you get a confirmation number at the end. This route also gives you the option to print the AR-11 for your records.
The instructions say something about filling it out online and then calling to have the rep finish it up for you and give you the confirmation. I imagine if someone does not have access to a computer, then that almost makes sense. The only advantage of calling is that the Level 1 rep gives you the target date; i.e., when the change of address will be confirmed. They keep repeating it's 30 days but really it's the target date.

So you didn't need to mail the AR-11. It says on the website not to. I do not think that will cause you any problems. As long as you got your confirmation numbers for each petition, you're fine. First you do the I-485 I-765 I-131 and then you do the I-130. Your sponsor has to do the I-865.

Does joint sponsor need to file "change of address" if he is not moving? it is just me and my petitioner who are moving...

We just did a COA as well. We did the AR-11 online for the I-130 & I-485. Three days later, it showed up on eGov that the one for the I-130 had been assigned and completed. A day later it showed that the one for the I-485 had been assigned and two days later that one was completed. Does it show up at all on eGov for you?
          2/20: Received at Chicago lockbox
4/04: We reviewed your biometrics and are processing your case (I-765 & I-485)
4/18: Ready to be scheduled for an interview (No notification, not updated on either site until Aug 27)
          4/19: Request to expedite EAD
          5/11: Received EAD
          6/26: Applied for Advance Parole
          8/09: Advance Parole approved
          8/29: Scheduled for Interview
          10/11: Interview
          10/12: RFE on I-130 (misplaced G28)
          10/16: Sent new G28
          10/19: Approved!

Hey! Where exactly you can see that address have changed for a particular form?
Also, does joint sponsor need to file anything when it is just me and my petitioner who are moving?

I made an eGov account and added all the receipt numbers - when I sign in, I scroll to the bottom and click on the case that I want to see. On the page for each case, there is a big section on top that shows your most recent status & below that are two sections. The one on the left is 'Case History', where it shows little updates like COA or SRs. You should find it there

Your joint sponsor has to notify USCIS every time they move until you become a citizen, but they do not have to do anything if you move
If they move, they will mail in an I-865 within 30 days of moving.

Thank you so much for your answer!

I guess you mean this website: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/po...omerProcess.do

I have a validation error from the beginning of this process for forms I-485 and I-130. I could add receipts for I-130 and I-765 just when EAD/AP card has been issued to me. So I cannot see any changes for I-485 and I-130.
I guess the only way for me to check if address has been changed is to call USCIS.

                Thanks again!

I am registered there as well. It does not show changes on our receipts. I called USCIS and Level2 told me that address change for I-485 is in process. She said to expect mail confirmation from them within 30 days.

                    Thank you!
