We're filling out i-864 for an AoS for me, H1B, based on my American citizen husband's 130. In part 5, Sponsor's Household Size, it automatically fills out from a previous section the number of sponsored immigrants: 1. Then it goes on to ask if the sponsor is married, which adds another person to the count -- thus counting me twice, and leading to the tally at the bottom of that section to show a wrong total of household members. Any advice??

As the sponsor is married and already counted spouse as intended immigrant, the answer in this section is zero.
Total number of people in the household should be correct at the bottom.

So since you're married to the person sponsoring you, you don't count that number again. It does state that you only count each person once.Marriage AOS - 2018

What I did when I did it, was print that page out and write the numbers with black pen by hand. It was accepted just the same.
