Whoa!! Just went to my mailbox now and saw my Biometrics appointment Letter sitting pretty in the mail. This is moving faster than I thought... Am so happy... Biometrics scheduled for the 30th. Dang!!!! I hope this process moves faster than I expect. Yay.


Filing location: Phoenix, Arizona.
Concurrent Filing (Marriage based AOS).
I-485, I-130, I-130A, I-765, I-864 and I-693.
June 30: Documents sent.
July 2: Docs Received
July 2 Priority Date.
July 10: Received 3 NOAs via Texts&email
July 14: Received NOAs in the mailbox.
July 23: Biometrics appnt received for July 30th.

USCIS made a mistake on my I-765 so I got rejection notice. I filed I-485,I-131 and I-765, sent them out at the same time. The other 2 were accepted but the I-765. They really screwed up whatever I've planned.
Anyways, I did got my biometric appointment at 1pm on 08/02. The mail came yesterday with the receipt I will be sending out my I-765 today with a copy of my I-485 receipt. Hopefully everything will be fine. Anyone have experienced it??

If I filed I-485, I-131, and I-765 at the same time then the fee for the other forms should be waived, right? My I-485 & I-131 got accepted, checked was cashed out but my I-765. They sent me the rejection notice saying that the fee was incorrect, or the fee was never received. Just note that the check for I-485 was cashed...I'm really upset about it.

Got it. Thank you for clarifying this issue. Yes, they were supposed to waive the fee for I-765 if you filed when filing for I-485. I have read about this on USCIS website. I didn't have the same problem since I didn't file for I-765 because my current OPT EAD is still valid until January 2020.

On the brighter note, we have just received great news that we might also be able to expedite my citizenship process just right after I get my GC because he is entering the US Navy as a commissioned officer and will be deployed out of the country. I am really hoping that this process goes through without any hiccups.

USCIS just notified me that they have reviewed my biometrics and will notify me for any other updates on my case.

Just received the update that my case is ready to be scheduled for interview. I?m glad to see that it looks like a lot of our cases are processing quickly.

Keeping my fingers crossed the Charlotte field office is as quick as the NBC! 🤞

Got an email Monday starting an RFE was on its way somprocess will be delayed until I get that info to them I guess. Waiting for the letter to find out what they need, I?m suspecting it?s the I-864. I did go for my biometrics on a walk-in on Monday and had to wait about an hour to pass, which isn?t bad considering they told me that they don?t do walk-ins.

Did you receive the RFE letter? What was it about? I ask because I too suspect I may get an RFE regarding I-864.

Yeah you can expedite (the ead) if you meet any criteria specified here: https://www.uscis.gov/us-visa-and-im...edite-criteria.
I made it on the ground of financial loss to my employer or person, as my current EAD will expire in 2 months and I will loose my employment. Dont know if my expedite request will be accepted though. I am still waiting for uscis response on that.
