And thanks @UScitizenFilingforspouse for compiling those links (and thanks to everyone who contributed). I have been looking through them for a couple of weeks now. And they are definitely very helpful. I will probably still need some feedback/advice from the forum about my evidence.

On a different note, @mcreek42 and @mari_elle, any update on your packages?

@Britican - we have a similar time line. I don't know if you are as surprised with it as I am. Good luck with your C-section!!!! August is going to be an eventful month for you huh!
If and when you are ready for feedback on your Table of Contents, make sure to send me a private message to let me know where the table of contents is. I am not on here as often. That goes for anyone who would like some feedback.

I am a huge fan of the Table of Contents put together by Emerald 2020

        • Holy mackerel - interview date

I went to check our PO Box like every weekend, and there was a letter from USCIS. "Crap," I thought, "we have an RFE." But it wasn't an RFE: It was a "Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview". Wow. Anchorage field office, date Aug 23.

I have one question though: The letter is addressed to:

          [my name]
c/o [my deceased father's name who never lived in the US]
[my and my spouse's correct mailing address]

Is there a need to inquire beforehand about this, in case there's something to correct? Maybe a data entry person plugged my father's name into an address slot, given his name the only male name on the whole application package and has the same last name as me (which my spouse doesn't)? Both my name and that of my spouse are traditionally female (we're a same-sex couple). Her NoA for the I-130 was addressed to her, though, so that's all ok, and of course there is no supporting document other than my birth certificate that even mentions my father's name.

            • Bio walk-in

              Hi guys,

This forum is extremely helpful indeed. As I see lot of you guys take bio by walk-in instead of waiting for appoint date. Can I check is there any issue ? any excuse needs to be explained to the officer ?

              Thanks

              • Biometrics Predicament

                Hi,

I have been following postings here for past many months. I have learned a lot by reading other folks experiences that they have shared. This forum has been extremely helpful to me.

So far I didn't need to post a question but now I think I have to. In June 14th, 2018 our documents were submitted to USCIS. For both me and my wife I-485 and I-765 and advance parole I-131 just for my wife. We received on June 27th, 2018 biometrics notification letters with a date set for July 9th, 2018. Next day on June 28th, 2018 we did the early walkin and within 15 minutes our biometrics process was completed. I decided to do early walkin after reading other experiences here on immihelp. We did this at West Palm Beach, Florida.

On July 11, 2018 status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov was updated "We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case. You do not need to do anything at this time." for both my I-485 and I-765 applications. The website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do doesn't show any new updates for our cases and results there are still from June 14.

On the other hand for my wife's I-485 and I-765, the status still shows as "We received your biometrics fee and are reviewing your case" and this update is from June 14, 2018. Both of our biometrics was conducted same date and time (mine was done 1st and then my wife's) so my question is, is this a normal situation to have my case updated with biometrics reviewed and my wife's case showing no progress?

                Hope to receive useful feedback.

                My timeline
06/14/2018 - 1-485 & I-765 received by USCIS both me and my wife. I-131 for my wife.
                06/27/2018 - Biometric notices received for July 9th, 2018
06/28/2018 - Biometrics done by early walkin
07/11/2018 - My I-485 & I-765 status updated as We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case but my wife's case is showing no status change

Our interview is on the same date. Woohoo

If this will help others here I don't think u should be sending him a private message better still say what needs to be said here in public so others can learn... My 2 cents
