If so then I think yes most likely you will get before end of October ( just my personal opinion. It?s not legal or uscis opinion)

You can always sent expedite request

    Best wishes
Unfortunately not. Biometrics were done in June, but never saw a "finger review was completed". Based on reading other threads they don't always update after biometrics.

    Was yours expedited?

    • To ask in regard to the I-131 expedite referral? or in regard to if they received my faxed information?

I'm calling so many people at this point that i'm losing track of everything lol

You understand that the USCIS policy manual states that if a customer requests to escalate the call to level 2, the level 1 must escalate the call. Tell him/her, you appreciate his/her following USCIS policy.
      Say it politely, of course.

You're so welcome! Let us know how it goes! Whatever you do, do not escalate the call to a supervisor. That will send you to a Level 1 who happens to oversee the call center's floor. That's it. I spoke to one of the supervisors once, and ALL he could see was what I could see on my screen.

I can definitely ask for an offer letter since there are projects we are going to focus on but would you recommend directly contacting the representative on the initial expedite request? I don't want to be seen very demanding and why did we fill out I864 if we are going to have financial hardship, you know.

Do you just call or email the representatives? Or go to their offices?
Mu husband, the U.S. citizen first called the congressman's office (we live in Virginia), and briefly explained the situation. They gave him an email address, and some instructions, and I personally emailed the gentleman with all supporting documentation that I previously faxed to USCIS. After 10 minutes, he told me he forwarded my request to USCIS. After exactly 7 days, I got an email that my card is being produced.

I think it would be best as soon as you submit the request with USCIS, and receive the mail in which they ask for proof of your severe financial hardship, reach out to your representatives as well. I wish I would have done that sooner.

I was thinking about the same regarding the I 864 and the whole financial hardship thing, but actually living on only one salary for extended amount of time puts some strain on us. Plus, the active job offer helps a lot.

              Good luck!

                • update on my call with USCIS level 2:

I waited over 2hours for a call back from an officer. He proceeded to give me a lecture of how "thousands and thousands" of people are in the same place as me. And that they do not give any favoritism. Out of the 11 minutes that we were on the phone, the 9 minutes was him telling me that I have no reasons to ask for a travel expedite since I expedited my EAD for 'financial loss' and that there is no way for them to give me favoritism (NOT THAT I WAS ASKING FOR ANY!). I simply asked: 1) Have you guys received my job offer? 2) Can I expedite my I-131 too?

He did in the end say that when you call a level 2 they can see if the EAD was granted or denied and mine was still "blank" so I should call again maybe Monday or Tuesday.
I guess the one nice thing he said to me was "good luck" lol

                  • Expedite request

I spoke to tier 2 asking in regards to whether my documents were received for expedite and she said I cannot expedite at this point because my case is in the final process of adjudication. Does anyone know what this means? I thought everyone's case is being adjudicated regardless of expediting or not. I'm very worried

                            • so, simply asking for an expedited travel document to attend a sibling's marriage would have a higher chance of being denied?
