I just got a response from my congresswoman via uscis about my expedite.
Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent?s immigration matter. This case will be routed for expedited processing. Once this case is reviewed, your constituent will receive a decision or notice of further action. Due to the extremely high volume of expedite requests for this case type, there are numerous cases involving exigent or humanitarian issues already in the expedite queue, and we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the expedited review. The strict enforcement of the expedite criteria means that all cases sent for expeditious handling are urgent, and we assure you that this case will be adjudicated as soon as possible.

I'd just wait to see what the RFE is anyways.C9 NY

EAD/AP status change!
Hey fellow June filers!
Just thought I?d post an update from today... got a notification on my Casetracker app saying my card was mailed to me. I didn?t get an email from USCIS though... which is weird because I did get an email from them saying my card was being produced. Delay I guess... when I logged in on the USCIS site it was updated with ?my card was picked up by the United States Postal Service.? I?ll attach the screenshot below. I?ve also updated my timeline in my signature and will continue to update as my cases progress up to the interview.
Side note: I did apply concurrently for AP (I-131) but that status hasn?t changed from ?we received your case?.. so I?ll post whether I received the combo card or not when I have it in my hand. I also signed up for USPS informed delivery... its pretty cool!
Question: Does anyone know whether or not I should I be receiving notices of action for the EAD/AP card, or is time getting the card the notice of action itself? USCFFS- I feel like you?ll know the answer to this as you?ve been super helpful!

Desperate but calmed and collected!
Hi guys! I just received the most horrible news. My TB results came back positive.
Long story short. I received an RFE to send my medical exam. I went to the doctor to pick the packet yesterday, thinking that everything was going to be fine, and I was planning to go to the mail or the USCIS office to deliver the packet, when the doctor gave me results.
They were so rude and insensitive, told me that I probably got the bacteria in my country (nothing else after that), when I have been living in Canada for 11+ years, just had a medical done in Canada and everything was fine, and in Cuba every child (including myself) is vaccinated with the BCG. Also told me that she could not give me more details, that I had to see an specialist.
Anyways, they took an x-ray, but the doctor didn't look t it, the lady at the x-ray room put it in a cd and gave it to me.
They gave me the referral and advised me to call the specialist, when calling the specialist she said the clinic that was referring me had to fax the referral and they could not talk directly to me. Called the clinic to tell them, they said were going to fax the referral in20 min, waited 30 min, called the specialist again, no fax, called the clinic said the fax didn't go through, they were going to try again. Called the specialist to confirm the fax, it was different from the one the clinic had, called clinic gain and gave them the correct fax#. My partner after seeing the insanity and incompetence of these people, called the specialist. The receptionist (I guess) told him that the manager was gone for the day and she could not book an appointment. waiting to call and go to see the specialist on Monday.
My friend who is a doctor, told me not to worry, after the specialist looks at the x-ray probably he will declare that it is negative and prescribe some medication for latent TB. The issue is that after reading a lot online, the doctor might not sign my I-693 until I finish the treatment, which can be 2plus months, and I need to send the I-693 by January 7th (according to the RFE). Others in other forums, who had been in the same situation said that the doctor can sign the I-693 even if I am under treatment. Other doctors don't even prescribe any treatment.
I just feel horrible. I am never sick, I haven't traveled other than to Canada in 2 years. I am praying that the doctor signs the I-693 or maybe ill go to another doctor. really don't know what to do. This weekend has been the worst, and will continue to be until hopefully Monday when I see the specialist. Sorry for the long post, I just need to vent.

Reading the USICS website regarding TB, it clearly says that the civil surgeon has to look at the chest x-ray before referring to the public health organization, but these people just referred me, without even looking at the chest x-ray.
They also got my address wrong, twice. on the Lab documents and on the referral document. I told them to update the documents and they said USCIS doesn't really care about that, I told them I do. They updated the forms, but got them wrong again. I guess they saw my frustration and updated the documents again, the lab results cant be updated because it came from a 3rd party lab (according to them).
IM really considering seeing another doctor, but will wait until I see the specialist on Monday.
venting again.

Did they just inject you with the TB test and you went back 48-72 to get it checked?
Most likely if you were vaccinated as a kid you can get FALSE positive results (since the PPD test just tests for traces of TB which you got since you were vaccinated. If you got the skin test and it came back positive they HAVE to get a chest x-ray to see if you actually have TB or not (right now it doesn't mean you have Tuberculosis the test just tells you MIGHT have it).
By what you described they didn't even look at the chest x-ray to see if you have TB or not... (if you had the BCG vaccine you would get a false positive everytime you have the PPD skin test).
MY advice would be to get the QUANTIFERON test aka IGRA. It is a simple blood test to see if you have TB or not (No need to come back in 48-72 hrs, no chance of false positive tests, no need for chest xray). They will draw up blood and can tell you if you have TB without going through all this stuff...
My doctor for my medical exam just did the Quantiferon to not waste time and chance, BUT it is more expensive.
Hope this helped

The doctor seems racist or antiimmigrant so i would just get another doctor to do test and file i693.
