    I am Asian too, but my TB blood test is negative. I had my medical exam with Dr. Angela Adelman (Address: 1624 W Olive Ave. 2nd Floor, Suite F, Burbank, CA 91505)

      Just thought I?d post an update from today... got a notification on my Casetracker app saying my card was mailed to me. I didn?t get an email from USCIS though... which is weird because I did get an email from them saying my card was being produced. Delay I guess... when I logged in on the USCIS site it was updated with ?my card was picked up by the United States Postal Service.? I?ll attach the screenshot below. I?ve also updated my timeline in my signature and will continue to update as my cases progress up to the interview.

      Side note: I did apply concurrently for AP (I-131) but that status hasn?t changed from ?we received your case?.. so I?ll post whether I received the combo card or not when I have it in my hand. I also signed up for USPS informed delivery... its pretty cool!

      Question: Does anyone know whether or not I should I be receiving notices of action for the EAD/AP card, or is time getting the card the notice of action itself? USCFFS- I feel like you?ll know the answer to this as you?ve been super helpful!

      we received actually 2 notifications from USCIS by letter. Onr telling us that the EAD was approved and the other one saying AP was approved. Our combo card says Advance parole in front of the card.

      • Thank you guys for all your kind words. I actually had the quantiferon gold done. Starting on October 1st, 2018,the skin test is not done anymore, only the blood test (quantiferon).
        Apparently the quantiferon eliminates any chances of false positives. So chances are I indeed was in contact with someone who had TB, or somehow got it, but it is probably latent. If that happens, it was here in the US. Canada does test every single person, including work permit applicants, plus I used to visit my family doctor every 6 months, health care is free in Canada, and I visited my doctor even for a cough that lasted 3 days or weird coloured urine, seriously I am paranoid. I don't even get mani/pedi because of fear I get HIV or hepatitis at nails salons, in US or Canada, or anywhere in the world....

        Of course a chest x-ray has to be reviewed by a radiologist, and then they can decide if it is latent or active. Which this doctor didn't do. In fact the doctor who was the civil surgeon recommended on the USCIS website didn't see me, his name is only plastered all over the clinic, but he doesn't see patients, his helpers do (nurses, lady in charge of immigration forms....).

        My 2 options according to the CDC and USCIS :

        Latent: the doctor can sign the I-693 and that's it, maybe recommend treatment, but not necessary. Case B and I'm good.
        Active: I am done, and considered inadmissible. Case A

        I have never wanted a weekend to be over this much. Seriously praying !!!

              Hi guys! I just received the most horrible news. My TB results came back positive.

              Long story short. I received an RFE to send my medical exam. I went to the doctor to pick the packet yesterday, thinking that everything was going to be fine, and I was planning to go to the mail or the USCIS office to deliver the packet, when the doctor gave me results.
              They were so rude and insensitive, told me that I probably got the bacteria in my country (nothing else after that), when I have been living in Canada for 11+ years, just had a medical done in Canada and everything was fine, and in Cuba every child (including myself) is vaccinated with the BCG. Also told me that she could not give me more details, that I had to see an specialist.
              Anyways, they took an x-ray, but the doctor didn't look t it, the lady at the x-ray room put it in a cd and gave it to me.

              They gave me the referral and advised me to call the specialist, when calling the specialist she said the clinic that was referring me had to fax the referral and they could not talk directly to me. Called the clinic to tell them, they said were going to fax the referral in20 min, waited 30 min, called the specialist again, no fax, called the clinic said the fax didn't go through, they were going to try again. Called the specialist to confirm the fax, it was different from the one the clinic had, called clinic gain and gave them the correct fax#. My partner after seeing the insanity and incompetence of these people, called the specialist. The receptionist (I guess) told him that the manager was gone for the day and she could not book an appointment. waiting to call and go to see the specialist on Monday.

              My friend who is a doctor, told me not to worry, after the specialist looks at the x-ray probably he will declare that it is negative and prescribe some medication for latent TB. The issue is that after reading a lot online, the doctor might not sign my I-693 until I finish the treatment, which can be 2plus months, and I need to send the I-693 by January 7th (according to the RFE). Others in other forums, who had been in the same situation said that the doctor can sign the I-693 even if I am under treatment. Other doctors don't even prescribe any treatment.

              I just feel horrible. I am never sick, I haven't traveled other than to Canada in 2 years. I am praying that the doctor signs the I-693 or maybe ill go to another doctor. really don't know what to do. This weekend has been the worst, and will continue to be until hopefully Monday when I see the specialist. Sorry for the long post, I just need to vent.
              Per The clinical guidelines, patients who have been vaccinated with the BCG are supposed to skip the X-ray. The civil surgeon is supposed to do a blood test. It?s all on the instructions and CDC guidelines.

                        I would follow the directions and respond to the RFE. I should add that I do not follow. Did you not include it with the I-864?

                            Hey !! I got the same thing !!

                            I did not submit tax transcript when I sent my original forms. I stupidly sent W2 forms only. DO NOT SENT the entire I864 again unless you NEVER sent it with your original forms. In responding to USCIS, I sent ONLY what they asked for and that was my husband ?s IRS tax transcript from 2017. I also submitted the tax form submitted to IRS for tax year 2017 (that print out we got from Turbo tax)

                            AFTER I sent USCIS my response to RFIE , I went into my inbox and found 4EVER ?s reply to me as I reached out for help (4EVER also had a RFIE) I was pretty pissed that I saw this so late so I am sharing with everyone who may need to see this. This is a great format! Please use this when responding. Very organized!

                            4EVER ?s private message to me begins here :

                            Hi! Does your RFIE only asks for the petitioner/sponsor's 2017 federal income tax return? First thing I would do is revisit my initial I-864 Affidavit of Support submission, and check if I submitted a 2017 IRS Tax Return Transcript. If not, request for one on the IRS website: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript . You'll get the return transcript in 5-10 calendar days by mail. There's also an option to download it or get it thru fax. (I opted to have it sent by mail.) The instruction on the I-864 says that if the applicant submits the IRS Transcript then there's no need to submit the other income tax return documentation.

                            Aside from the IRS Transcript, I would also submit the 2017 W-2 (even if you have submitted it before), pay stubs for the last 6 months from current employer, and Certificate of Employment from employer.

                            After you've gathered all documents, prepare a cover letter. The letter may look like this:

                            USCIS, Attention: Adjustment of Status
                            850 NW Chipman Rd
                            Lee?s Summit, MO 64063

                            To Whom It May Concern:

                            This is in response to the Request for Initial Evidence (RFIE) letter dated September XX, 2018. The RFIE requests for the petitioner/sponsor?s tax documentation submitted to the Internal Revenue Service for the most recent tax year (2017).

                            In compliance with the RFIE, enclosed herein are the following tax and financial documents from the petitioner/sponsor, with the copy of the RFIE letter on top:

                            1. Tax Transcript issued by the Internal Revenue Service for tax period, December 2017;
                            2. 2017 Form W-2 from current employer;
                            3. Recent pay stubs for the last 6 months from current employer showing proof of current income;
                            4. Certificate of Employment from current employer.

                            Copies of the documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered documents, and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an immigration officer at a later date.

                                It's probably not complete. They do prefer transcripts. I would include 1099s, W2s even if you send in transcripts. By the way, when you ask a question, try to provide all the information needed to for folks to weigh your options and be able to give you meaningful advice. Connect the dots for us. LOL it's true. Folks should not have to dig through previous posts to give you an answer. That's just my humble two cents.
