Hi Team,
I had my I 485 (in EB1C) interview this week and the interview went fine. But after the interview the officer gave me a letter saying that he is not in a position to approve my case as my I140 background check is pending.
For your information, my I140 has been approved in March 2017. I am now confused about this. How my I 140 background check is still pending when I already have my I 140 approved. Request you all to put some light if you face this kind of scenario.
I have submitted my I485 with my family on October 23, 2017 and completed our biometrics in Nov 2017. We had received our EAD in January 2018.
I am confused about my next steps as well.
