I have been a silent observer of this forum for a very long time and this forum has helped a lot in gaining insight from people who are in the similar state of awaiting some action on their USCIS cases. With this new thread, I am hoping to collaborate with a very specific audience who are are waiting for some action after "ready to be scheduled for interview" status from USCIS field office/NBC.
I have 2 questions on the "Ready to be scheduled for Interview" status for I-485 filing.
1. What is the Case Inquiry Date mentioned in the USCIS Processing times web page? <-- Does it mean the 485 filing date or does it mean - date when case was received by the field office ?
2. If the online status states "ready to be scheduled for the interview" then when can the interview be expected ?
Details associated with my case:
Priority Date - 11/2016
i-140 Approval - 1/2018 (Nebraska Service center)
485 filing - 4/2017
Current Status - Ready to be scheduled for Interview
Category - EB1
Please share your experiences and possible answers to above questions along with your case timelines.
