How did the interview go? What did the officer say at the end of the interview?

The Interview went well, though it was long but we all answered the questions correctly. He never mentioned anything about approval, I asked him when he is getting back and he said at most 120 days, I assume that is the normal processing days but was expecting an update on my online status by now

Give it one more week and call USCIS customer service and ask to speak to a L2 officer. Tell them u can't see anything on your status and want an update after your interview. L2 help but some L1s refuse to do transfers🙄 reading off of a boring script.

You make me nervous. Hope you will get approval soon! If officer said wait 120 days I guess you need to wait at least 1 month?

I was in a similar situation, I didnt see an update for about 4.5 weeks (not online, nothing in the mail, etc). Ideally, you want to wait 2-4 weeks because thats how long processing usually takes. Not in Pittsburg though.

Based on advice from people here and an immigration lawyer, I scheduled an INFOPASS appointment to get questions answered. Both my husband and I went, we brought all our documents with us just in case. The IO we talked to said everything is fine, every case is different and processing is different, especially if you are going to get a 10 year greencard and not a conditional one, they take longer to process. They said my second "review" was done and they were just waiting on a decision. I told him my IO said to us after our interview that we should get it in 2-3 weeks and he was going to approve us, turns out it goes to a second person for a 10 year gc? I don't know. He said we were lucky that we got reviewed within 3 weeks because he has some cases sitting on his shelf for 2 months... he said if there was anything needed (additional evidence) or if it was going to get denied, we would've already heard back. So nothing to worry about, and we should hear back soon.

Later that night my status changed online to card is being produced and that the case was approved.

Moral of the story is sometimes they are backlogged (or lazy) and the INFOPASS was a good nudge for them to get it going if nothing was needed. I would say be patient and wait out the 30 days, but go ahead and schedule an INFOPASS anyway since you can only schedule 2 weeks out.

                Good luck!

Reading this makes me really appreciate our IO even more, than I already did. If 10 year card takes longer to approve, I consider myself very lucky. Or its just the IO you get and how fast they get things done, that matters. We had our interview, were approved on the spot, he gave us the approval letter, told me in 3 years I can apply for citizenship, that i will receive my green card in 2 weeks. Yeah, right... I got it on day 4! Interview was on tues, on sat card arrived!✔️ My online updates were on pint! Two hours after interview status changed to card is being produced, two days later, card was mailed and on sat card was pickes up by ups. The approval letter from USCIS came exactly one week after the interview. I have the 10 year card. Very grateful.

Is a signature required for greencard delivery?

My status says that my card was mailed to me.. I?m traveling for work this week and read somewhere that we need to sign to get the green card, is that true? How do I get around this if I?m traveling? Can my husband sign for me?

                      Thank you so much.

Pittsburgh needs 30-60 days to review the case or double check? Not sure why they need 30-60 days now. They have new rules....
I will wait till 30 days to schedule an infopass. Now it is still too early.
My interview is nothing surprise me. Just simple questions and confirm that everything on the 485. IO said there will be another review or some thing like that.
