Also filing in Baltimore. Here’s how everything is gone so far.

Submitted everything on April 2nd. Had Biometrics at the start of May. RFE on August 29th. Took us a while to get everything for the RFE, but we submitted it on November 17th. Interview scheduled on December 10th. Have our interview on the 14th of January.

So under 1 year even with RFE. I filed my paperwork through an attorney. I’m currently just waiting for them to schedule our interview. We filed on October 26. Then had our biometrics appt on November 26, which we miss because my wife lost her passport. So we went on the 28th and in December 6th they received and updated the website saying we are ready to get schedule for the interview.

In that case I would definitely have your attorney look into it. I know of quite a few filers in Baltimore this year who have already completed their interviews. The fact that yours has been ready to schedule for almost a year sounds odd, but at the same time, I’m no expert. Your initial missed biometrics appointment may have something to do with it, but I really can’t be too sure.

Good luck, regardless! I hope it all works out!

Forgot to say this was in 2018. Lol. Not 2017.

But thank you. Hopefully everything can be completed under 1 year.
