Paragraph 1 = Because of people whose behavior is similar to yours, I never discussed my case with anyone. I kept it private. People will call ICE on their neighbors because they don't like them

Paragraph 4 = There are 1000 things you could be doing instead of minding someone else's business. Do you pay his mortgage? Mind your own business.

never said you couldn't discuss Ideas, I was just confused by the way you worded things I guess, and no I do not pay the rent on the literal storage unit he lives in, he somehow manages to pay that while also paying off 80k in back-paid child support that he didn't pay because he refused to get a job(or chose depending on what you want to believe) that wasn't cash or tips only so he "couldn't" afford to pay it. now although this seems off topic it's not because this is just another example of how he thinks he's above the law and it's only when he's threatened with jail time that he decides to start paying it back. this has been going on for 5+ years, and he acts like nothing he is doing is wrong.

Brother, we all reap what we sow. He will, too. Take care of your own little corner of the world, and don't let his mess cast a shadow on your life. Steer clear off people like that. We don't have to get into details, but it sounds to me like he's gotten through life by creating a lot of imbalance around him. That will come back to him. Why would you want to tie your name to an investigation? That likely becomes public information.
Have you seen "Making a murderer"? If you haven't, you should. It had a chilling and sobering effect on me. The US criminal justice system affords little to no protection to anyone accused of a crime. The point here is that he could turn around and accuse you of whatever, as well. ICE would have to investigate. Depending upon who you are and who makes the accusation, you might be presumed guilty from the get go.
