  • Married based GC

Hello everyone I'll like to share my experience from start to finish.
    3/2/18 USCIS received package I-130, I-485
    3/16/18 received the confirmation
    4/2/18 Biometrics appointment
4/25/18 interview ready to be scheduled
    5/7/18 interview scheduled
    6/15/18 interview date
GC approved on the spot and got notification that card was being produced
6/18/18 GC is ready for pickup by post office
6/19/18 I got text alert with tracking information
    6/21/18 I got GC
So the process was really fast but of course it gave me anxiety. The day of my appointment it was 6:45a.m and I got there on time when upstairs checked in and soon after the IO came out took me and my husband to his office sworn us in and begin the process he asked for our passports Or I d's and are married certificate he later asked for or a child's birth certificate , he asked for my passport that I came into the country on which had my visa that had expired. He asked where we lived he asked how much money did my husband make previous year. He then asked for original copies of my husband W2. We were then ask if there's any other document we were light to give in we gave the bank account statement and an insurance policy that I have and my husband is the beneficiary. He made copies of our passport and ideas came back to the room and said I'm going to approve your case he also told us to expect the GC in the mail with thin 2 to 3 weeks and here I am one week later with it in my hand. I never received a working permit when I check my account on USCIS website it still says pending but I don't need it now. I am located in California don't really know what feel station that is but I'm in California. Wishing you guys many of luck!
