  • Could I submit some more materials of bona fide marriage with I 485

I filed I130 on June 2017 and was approved on Feb 2018. When I filed I130, I had attached some materials of bona fide marriage.
On July 2018, I?m gonna file I485. Could I attach some more materials and evidences of bona fide marriage?
    Thank you!

Doesn?t hurt to do it. I would take the same material you submitted both times to the interview. You want the quickest interview as possible so frontload as much as you can. The interview will just be a formality if you do that.

Congratulations on having the I-130 approved! It's nice to get to the interview knowing you have that under your belt. I would definitely submit ALL evidence of bona fide marriage that you may have from the time of the marriage until the present date. Even though your I-130 was approved without an interview and with "some materials of bona fide marriage", at the interview they will still evaluate whether your marriage is in fact bona fide.
In addition to that, often times people get to the I-485 interview and the field office has not requested the I-130 file before hand. I would add a page that states in huge font "PLEASE attach I-130 MSC1234567890 to this Adjustment of status application"

Here is what the I-130 instructions state. See the screenshot below.

Thank you so much for the kind words and valuable advice! I would definitely do what you said. I have a lawyer. He did ask for lots of bona fide materials when we filed 130. However, he didn?t ask for anything this time. I?ll have to consult with the lawyer about it before we file 485 next month!

You are welcome! Most importantly, figure out how fast your field office is moving with interviews. What is your field office? That determines everything. It's the difference between getting your green card in 90 days or 24 months +.

I live in Kentucky. So I guess my field office would be Louisville, Kentucky? Is that how it works? I am filing I485 on July 2018 (next month).
