  • Interview Completed, no decision yet...

    Hi guys,

Its getting so frustrated, our interview was completed on June 18,18 and still no approval. officer mentioned my I-130 form is not yet arrived at local office but she was able to see that it has been approved. Tried to call customer care, talked to level 2 officer and still they can't answer where is I-130 form as of now. does any one know what will happen now?

Also, Officer gave me paper on when to remove condition (INA 216-notice to conditional permanent resident), what does this mean?

    thanks,

    thanks,
When you're married to your sponsor for less than 2 years at the time of approval, you get a 2 year conditional green card. During the 90 day period before your 2 years expires, you have to file an I-751, petition to remove conditions of residence, in order to be granted a 10 year green card. So that letter is telling you what to do when it comes to that.

So I'd suggest, if they've given you that letter, you're probably approved and it's just taking them a while to complete the processing.

Just be patient and focus on something else. Don't drive yourself crazy. Once he gave u that i751 paper, it's a good sign. It may a few more weeks or months.
