Thanks. I was going to wait for another 10 days before I can start involving the Senators. All my senators are Republicans so you know how that goes and their feelings towards immigrants. You give me hope that something will update in the next week or so.

Cali2018 -very astutely- pointed out to me that republican senators are likely in favor of you working. If you think about it, they want to win over your vote. So go for it. Just reach out. Read through the issues that matter to them, read their stance on immigration and derive your tune from that. Tell them what you want in words they want to hear.
