Need Help : Fax Issue to Expedite AP

When is your travel date?

Flight is on 16th July. I have requested for my AP Expedition on 22nd June 18 and received Mail for supporting documents on July 2nd. (PD 01/22/18)

Yes be prepared with the $575, if they want to spare you they will decide after they hear your case, its possible.

You are totally at the mercy of USCIS in this scenario its up to them to decide whats an emergency and how it will work.

I completely understand one should not leave the country without AP document while AOS is pending. I am really praying they understand our situation and help us anyway possible. If its possible to delay our trip we could have delayed but now the situation back in country is unavoidable.

Okay, your appointment july9th very like your AP letter will be printed. There could be a delay on the EAD. Just be prepared, but they will very likely give you it.

Not a suggestion just a thought. The ending of my statement there was asking for more brains into this though whether or not it's a possibility if push came to shove.... anyways.

Sadly just way it is...push comes to shove you gotta decide if delay a chance to live in the USA for 1-2 years or push back the medical procedure somehow. You need to prepare to make that choice there is no third option. Your i485 will be denied and the combo card wont be able to be used. The CBP officer will have all the information and attempting to lie to them could lead to a 3 year ban. Some people have got back in using a tourist visa but then AOS from tourist visa again bad idea.

Bottomline not something to ever consider. End of the day USCIS is run by humans, again massive chance they will give the AP at the infopass. And if not you go back day before/morning of the flight wait hours asking for an emergency...Thats what people do.

If its not urgent we could have delayed but its a matter of heart issue, we delayed as much as we can in order to wait for EAD/AP. Now, there are some complication arising and we can't delay anymore and cant take risk with health. Since its been more than 5 months waiting of EAD/AP, we decided to request an expedite to be there for the surgery but didn't know this Fax Issue will arise. I even tried to FAX this morning as well (170th attempt to FAX), But no response. I really hope Officer understand our situation and issue her AP. Just Praying. I appreciate your guidance.

170th attempt? I have 459 unsuccessful transmission notifications. Only have 8 confirmations of successful transmission.

The fact that they only have 1 dedicated fax line tells you everything about USCIS. Who even uses fax machines anymore? I am faxing from my email account, for Pete's sake.

170th attempt? I have 459 unsuccessful transmission notifications. Only have 8 confirmations of successful transmission.

Can we fax from our email account? Can you please guide me how to do that? If I can that would be easy rather than typing FAX Number on machine every single time.

There are several e-fax services online. You may get a free trial or may have to pay for 1 month service, then cancel it. Either way, it's a lot faster than punching it the number on the fax machine each time. You can also send a stampede of faxes. I sent about 20-50 consecutive faxes. Then you let it do its thing. Then you start getting the unsuccessful/successful transmission reports.

This is the one I use. You have to read the quick start guide. Follow it. You'll be ready to send faxes within 10-15 minutes.
