  • There is hope

I see that most USCIS field office processing times for I-485 has reduced especially Houston Texas whose wait time was 8 to 32 months as at last month. I checked today was now 8 to 14 months which gave me hope cause this month of July made it a year since I submitted my AOS documents.
Has anyone noticed this improvement recently?

Only for employment based...family based seems to be at 16.5 - 30.5 months

I'm in Chicago and also noticed an improvement! I think it used to be 11 months and over, and now it's 8.5 to 27.5!
I hope we can trust these data...

It's just a glitch. In real life the wait is getting longer for everyone.

You can't trust the data. They're just reporting how long it's taking to process cases. We don't know what quarter of the year they are reporting. Do not forget that a lot of offices skipped 2017 cases and started interviewing 2018 cases. So yes, you are going to see shorter processing times for both.
