These numbers seem to be the new generic processing times.
    10 Months to 19.5 Months Employment-based adjustment applications December 12, 2016
    10.5 Months to 23.5 Months Family-based adjustment applications August 14, 2016

I just checked a bunch of them. A lot of the field offices display that combination.

Family based is longer than employment based.
Blue box also is usually different, like in SF.
Is blue box more accurate than the lower box?

          Hi USFFS
SF field says 9-14 for blue box and it is the same for employment based. But family based is 12-20 months so which one is correct? Thank you

It seems like the blue box is for ALL 485 cases processed by your office, and it breaks it down into categories in the table below. If this is true, and the blue box more closely resembles the employment-based data, that's probably a sign that the bulk of what they processed in the period were employment-based cases.

I think you make an excellent point. The deadline to file H1B visas just passed. Wasn't it July 1st? So that makes sense.
Now, the San Francisco office was one of those affected by the "system glitch" and they were scheduling employment based interviews for marriage based applicants. So basically they skipped from whatever cases were next in the queue from 2017 and jumped to 2018.

              They're playing catch up now.

This site provides applicants the ability to see an estimate of the time to completion from submission of USCIS forms based on its adjudication location and subtype.

Highest level data...apparently at a very high level...uscis aint as slow as it seems.
