Oct 2002 I-485 Receipt date/ Any approvals, anyone?
Another Q, I filed my I-485 on Sept 2002 and have received the AP and EAD. 7 months after filing, I was laid off and found a new job in a similar position with a higher salary. This was in Aug 2003. I wanted to file AC21 but my lawyers attitude changed after I got laid off and they still have not filed the AC-21 in spite of the numerous mails and reminders I've sent. I would like to know if I can change my lawyers at this point in time, will it affect processing in any way. Can I get into any trouble coz the AC21 was not filed?
