  • Interview was Comleted and my case must be reviewed

We had our marriage based application interview on 6/7. It went very smoothly and the officer was very nice. We have 2 kids together, so when he saw our pictures and that we have a legitimate relationship he finished the interview.
He said our case was very approvable, and that was all! We asked what?s next and he said we just have to wait.
Later in the day we got the notification ?Interview was Completed and my case must be reviewed?
It?s been a little over a month and NOTHING yet!

Can anyone shed a light if this is normal procedure?

From every case we hear, they get the green card a week later.

    Thanks in advance!

Don't worry. Did he give u a recommended for approval letter? Not everyone would get their cases approved same day. Look at my timeline https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...erience!/page6

The officer had to us to allow 2-5 weeks before receiving the letters and card. I received everything both exactly the 5th week. My aunt had gotten hers on the 6th week and her interview she made mistakes and was worried. U had a positive feedback from your IO. Just be patient and pray.
    All the best 😊

It sounds positive to me, so I wouldn't worry about it. But I know that's hard to do!

In my interview the officer told us he just needed to review the evidence we submitted to him that day and to expect the green card in the mail 10-15 days after it's approved. A few hours later on the same day my status changed to new card being produced. But as you say, each case is different, some people receive them after a week, some people receive them after a month or more.

But honestly, the fact he said you were approvable and concluded the interview in a timely manner is a positive sign.

He didn?t give us anything, it was just a verbal thing. It?s just so frustrating...
        Thanks for the reply!

You should make an InfoPass appointment to see what is going on.

What are the chances of them actually giving helpful info, instead of saying ?your case is pending review and you have to wait.?

            Have you done this before?

I don't know what the chances are that you would get any helpful information per se, but its the most likely place you would get constructive information as you will speak with an Immigration Officer.

I'm in the same boat. Completed interview today and receive the same message "Interview was Completed and my case must be reviewed" on my case.
However at the end of interview officer said everything is fine and we approve your GC. which is a good sign.
                Mine was employment based.
