Advanced Parole/Combo Card

I applied for my Advanced Parole and EAD card separately. I received my AP Nov 2017 and traveled out the country once before my EAD card came. I was told by a USCIS rep that I had unlimited reentries before the expiration date. I got approved for the EAD card yesterday. I was planning to travel again in August but I was told by another USCIS rep that I would need to renew the Advanced Parole document to get a combo card. Does any one know which one is true? I thought I would be receiving a combo card since I was already approved for the AP.

Since you applied for EAD and AP separately, you got them separately. Your EAD will not be a combo card. You already have an AP.
