Indeed! Thank you! Hopefully, the interview won't be too stressful due to me being heavily pregnant at the moment.

Wow! Before receiving this news, our lawyer told us that the back log is now anywhere from 12 to 26 months before an interview can be scheduled. Hopefully, you can get some news soon!

Yeah when we originally met with an attorney just to check out the whole process, he told us for the Houston area at the time was 9-18 months. This was right after Trump was elected but before he was in office. He told us to get out paperwork in ASAP as the new administration was going to be a mess and a lot of people were going to apply before he actually took office... and that is exactly what happened... our original application was sent back because I paid the wrong fees. Our original PD was 12/29/2016. Sucks!

This was the exact same for us. When we first went to the lawyer right after Trump's election, we were told no longer than 90 days for EAD/Advanced Parole and no longer than 13 months for interview. EAD took 127 days and our interview is scheduled for August 16, 2018, which is 15 months.

You hired an attorney and still paid the wrong fees? You are paying them to ensure that everything is done correctly the first time. I'm sorry this happened to you and hopefully, you can get an interview soon!
