  • What's the meaning of this notice

A month after I requested to expedite the EAD/AP I received a notice from USCIS by regular mail stating that my case is currently under review.
Anyone here with previous experience with this kind of redundant notice? Does it mean that things are approaching decision?

I'm in the same boat. Got two opinions, was told to fax all supporting documents for the EAD expedites prior to them asking for it. While the other person told me to keep my finger crossed & not to send anything yet till they ask for anything...hopefully we get a positive response from USCIS.

When did you send the evidence? Do you know if all your security checks are complete?

I've mailed them the evidence about two weeks ago since the fax number is unavailable/busy the past 3 weeks...I got a notice that my case is ready to schedule for an interview in mid-April

I doubt you'll get approved without sending the documents. The fax number is unavailable/busy the last few weeks, and you might need to mail it via regular mail.

If you got that notice after you sent the evidence. It means the officer is looking at and you are the max point of expedite-ing a case, so it should be completed any day now. You could call or ask your senator/congressman to check on it. If thee officer wanted more evidence you would have got a different mail.

Just to be clear when was the 3 updates of an "officer assigned to expedite" on your status online. Then when did you get the new mail.

I sure hope so, the only thing I'm getting from the call center is hang ups. I never had any updates online or emails all the updates are via letters.
