USPS nightmare!!!!!

Ok. A random thread just to get my frustrations out about USPS.
What a shitty service with rude employees. Mind you USPS are being paid big money by AMaZOn and other companies to deliver packages or certified mail but their services suck to heaven?s high.

It?s day 3 of attempting to get my EAD that was mailed out to be last week. I have the tracking number and everything. It?s like I?m playing cat and mouse with these folks about a document that I have a right to. They lie about attempting to deliver it. Once they see that it needs a signature they go in their system and put it ?delivery attempted? or ?no access to deliver?. All this is bullshit. I?m home all day and the crazy part about it is they don?t leave a notice in the mailbox either letting me know what to do.
I called USPS yesterday and the lady told me the package will be available to go pick up at my nearest USPS. I go to pick it up today and the uSPS associate at the post office tells me the mail lady picked it up and it?s en route to be redelivered again today.
I ask what time should I expect her to be in my apartment complex so I can wait for her knowing she won?t come to my apartment to deliver it, he doesn?t know. And mind you I live right by the gate so there is no excuse.

Here I?m at the mailbox waiting for the mail person. Don?t know how long I will be here for but GOD knows I?m sick and tired of this so I have to do what i gotta do
I honestly wouldn?t mind paying extra money for USCIS to use UPS or Fedex instead of USPS when it comes to sending the EAD and Green cards.

My husband has the same issue with UPS. When they don't want to deliver the mail in the given area because it's the only one, they put wrong address or undeliverable. Smh
Sign up for informed delivery! You can see when it's on it's way and you can also request for the post office to hold the mail. Do that with your GC. Request for the post office to hold it for pick up.

Informed delivery as mentioned totally nesscary. Also have you ever chatted or said good day to your mail person? Some are bitter but many are nice and will answer questions like ?is my name on mailbox, I am waiting for an important pckage, etc..?. As well you need to call night before for them usually to hold it at the USPS location or use informed delivery for it.

I agree with Informed Delivery. When my package was picked up by USPS, USCIS updated my status on their site with the tracking number, and I also received an email from USPS. But the best bit was that even though I had the tracking number, I didn't need to enter it. On my Informed Delivery account it simply appeared under the Packages section with the tracking information, automatically.

It's very useful.

My husband has the same issue with UPS. When they don't want to deliver the mail in the given area because it's the only one, they put wrong address or undeliverable. Smh
Sign up for informed delivery! You can see when it's on it's way and you can also request for the post office to hold the mail. Do that with your GC. Request for the post office to hold it for pick up.

I do have informed delivery. I did hold mail service with a USPS representative on the phone who gave me the confirmation number for it and when I went to pick it up today, they told me they couldn?t find it because the mail person picked it up to attempt a second delivery. So I?m just sitting here waiting for the mail person to show up.

Oh our mail person acts like she hates her job to be honest. The lady before her was much pleasant. I politely approached her last week for the first time to let know that I was expecting an important mail and she told me she has no control over how to deliver mail and If she can?t deliver something will leave a notice in the mailbox which is not always the case. I?m not the only person complaining.

USPS lite blue now offering excellent services.They improved a lot. Over a period of time, They are offering excellent services.
