I live in Brooklyn, My case will be in New York field office. I read in many other threads that NY field office processing is the slowest.

What field office are you assigned to?

I read somewhere that the wait time went from 90 days to 180. All I do is keep refreshing my casetracker app and logging in to USCIS hoping to see a change. Have not signed up for USPS informed delivery... one less thing to obsessively check... Hope we get our cards and interviews soon... anyone else have intl. travel plans?

Mine is Philadelphia Field Office.. Another thing to note is if your priority date for Final action is Current, because F2A for my country its not yet current. I'll have to wait until my date is current i guess.

The visa bulletin does not apply to immediate relatives of US citizens. As a spouse of a US citizen, you are an immediate relative.

As Usual you are right..for USC its immediate relative always current regardless of country quota.
in my case I'm a spouse of an LPR, so i'm bound by the priority date.

                    • UScitizenFilingforspouse, what do you think?
I just received a letter from USCIS asking for my I-163. I think that's good news. All the people i know who received a request to mail/bring to interview the I-163 received their GC right after. Usually CAA filers don't have to go for an interview. Its crazy that my account never got updated or anything. I SO HAPPY!!!

I am on h1. Based on what I am noticing , I donot think visa category matters. You are good as long as you have above two statuses.

                        • DL Inquiry

Advice needed. I applied and received my DL after my wedding with a USC. The thing is, the expiration date indicated in the DL is the same day my 6-month tourist stay expires, which is last 10/10/2018. Is there a way to extend the validity of my DL?

                          • EAD/AP update!

So I just got an email saying that my new card is being produced for my I-765 application. I file the AP I-131 concurrently, but that hasn?t been updated on the USCIS account.. foes anyone know if this is normal? Does this mean that I?m getting the combo card, or is it just the work permit that?s been approved?

The status of the I-131 does not always change. You should get the combo card. Your status will change to "Card has been mailed". That does not actually mean it has been mailed. Then it will switch to "Card has been picked up by USPS". That's when you get the tracking number.

Heads up. If you are not going to be home, it's best to ask the post office to hold all your mail until you get your combo card. Though inconvenient, that's the safest bet.
