The federal limit from AB 60? If your answer is yes, then no. Don’t do it. The AB60
licenses is given to people without proper documentation of being legal here.
Do more research about traveling please.
If unsure, passport is always good!

"federal limits apply" does not mean it's an AB 60 driver's license. ALL non-REAL-ID California driver's licenses and IDs issued since 2018 say "federal limits apply" on it. This includes anyone, including US citizens and people in legal status, who renewed their previous license/ID in 2018 by mail rather than going in person to apply for a REAL ID one. The non-REAL-ID California driver's licenses and IDs that say "federal limits apply" on them can be used for boarding domestic flights until October 1, 2020. See https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/realid Other states similarly issue non-REAL-ID driver's licenses that say "federal limits apply" on them for people who do not specifically apply for a REAL ID one, and in fact some states won't issue REAL ID licenses/IDs at all.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

That’s why I asked if its from the AB 60 because the new non real ID issued since last year has a different look. The AB 60 IDs
have a specific look. I know for a fact because I once held the AB60 license for awhile.

Flying inside of the continental US is fine. Go deal with your emergency. But make sure you have photo-id, passport and copies of your paperwork with you. Travelling within the continental USA to all the destinations of your heart's content, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico on your valid state issued ID is more than fine. There are no immigration controls while flying domestic, unless you are in some small, provincial AZ or TX airport in close proximity to the Mexican border, but even there you would be OK, since have all the AOS filing receipts.
          Happy landings!

Bring your NOA1 for your I-485 along while travelling

You are in a period of authorized stay until your AOS application is adjudicated.
