  • Feeling worried!!

    2 months since my Biometrics
I have not heard anything nor any status change
    Should I call uscis?

  • #2
I wouldn't worry. Some cases move quicker than others for various reasons. If USCIS have any cause for concern they will likely issue an RFE. Sometimes no news is good news.

Some people don't hear anything after their biometrics. Your next update will likely be "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" or "Interview was scheduled" so just keep checking your updates.

I?m wondering if your son?s case would even require an interview. My mother got her green card in the mail when I petitioned for her.

Your status should update soon. My status changed from "case was received" to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" 71 days after the biometrics appointment.
