Hello Guys, I applied for my naturalization for citizenship last September, I was under the impression it will take 3-4 months to complete, I already had my fiance living overseas, after 4 months I learned my application may take more than a year and half so I decided to travel and get married and get all my papers done, question is, should I let USCIS know or wait til I'm a citizen and then apply for her visa, and if I apply for her visa right now as green card holder, will this affect my citizenship application, please advise and thanks a lot.

When you become a citizen you can upgrade the petition from F2A to Immediate Relative category.
This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
