  • July 2018 Filers

    Hi everyone -

Wanted to hear from all July filers, my case is:
Sent via Fedex: 07/19/2018 (from Baltimore)
Package received by USCIS: 07/23/2018 signed by J.ROBINSON
Forms sent:I-130 and I-485, marriage based
Checks have not been cashed yet

How long does it usually take to receive the receipt notices?

I am a really anxious person and this wait and uncertainties are killing me.

Usually 2-3 weeks. Mine took 8 and 11 days for electronic and mail NOA, respectively. Relax, you'll get yours in no time.

I did a concurrent filing for the I-130 and I-485 for my spouse and I am a U.S. citizen on July 27, 2018. so I am on the waiting list now.

I posted my application for my parents GC on july 19th 2018. Both I130 and I485 were concurrently filed and mailed to Chicago lockbox. We sent the application via priority mail (USPS) . we got confirmation that it was delivered on july 21st.

We had included form G1145 for e-notification, but havent heard anything back yet. The checks haven't been cashed too.

We are getting worried now. Anyone else who is experiencing the same issue?

          Thanks
