Hi,
Received a RFE as part of adjudication of I-485. The RFE asks for submission of property details for consideration towards I-864 (Affidavit of Support) since 2017 taxes have not been filed as yet.
Question: Are property tax assessments issued by the County's Tax Assessor (California) accepted by the USCIS instead of a licensed appraisal of the property? The Tax Assessment does show the cash assessed value of the property and is below the market value of the property.
Please advise if the property tax assessment can be used to the property's value.
