MY GC application EB1 was received on 05/04, had interview today. Nothing unexpected, however, could not get GC due to retrogression, should get in new fiscal year, Oct 2018.

I hope this is standard process, any similar experience ? when should I expect to hear from USCIS in OCt ?

I have seen 2 others post the same. It seems the EB1 quota has been met for the year, so don't worry about this, you will get one once the new quota is in use.
